One walker. One fox. One pigeon. Two penguins. A Lion vs a Giraffe.

A few more miles left as part of the  Dementia UK ‘60 miles in June’ challenge which I am completing for the Dementia-HelpX team. The recent walk has taken me from Marchmont, across Newington, through Grange onto the Blackford Pond which is part of the   Hermitage of Braid & Blackford Hill Local Nature Reserve . Then onto the Morningside. There I met a fox on the way, which casually strolled on a sidewalk of a busy road. It stopped, picked up a wooden stick, turned left into someone's front garden and disappeared within the housing estate.  It was an interesting experience. I didn't expect to see a fox so close in the city. I think it might have made its way from the  Hermitage of Braid. Same as me. I stopped for a short break at the Black Sheep Coffee in Bruntsfield. I had to try their strawberry matcha. I am a fan of matcha and taste-testing which cafe's make it best. Not many places offer it as part of their menu. I ended my walk not far from my old flat an...
